Last week I stated that it was unbelievable that no matter what logic was presented, as far as financial issues are concerned, my words seem to fall on deaf ears and most people continue to do the same things over and over. In fact, it has been said that insanity is the result of thinking the same thoughts over and over, each time expecting a different result. This has always puzzled
me deeply. Why, when we know better, do we continue to self sabotage our financial situations and even our own lives?
I have practised “unconventional” thinking for decades. And let me tell you that it is not easy to clear through the myriad of “junk” being dumped upon each and every one of us all the time and then selecting the best ideas and the most truthful facts, especially in the financial planning
universe. Thinking in “unconventional” terms is simply the result of not accepting everything that is being told to us especially by government and big business. I question everything! I always have and I always will. I like to think for myself.
It seems that I always attract to myself the non-conventional individuals and the change makers into my life. Some may label those people “conspiracy theorists” for example. However, that was after many years of wondering why I was not like the majority.
In fact, I have also “paid the price” for my unconventional thinking. I could never hold a job because I hated the fact that anytime I wanted to “use my brain” and try to improve any process, it usually resulted in me having to search for a new job. It always seemed that my employers did not care to implement the changes I was suggesting as the existing methods were just fine. Funny thing, we all know that the only constant is change and yet, we seem to blindly do what we think has been working to our advantage without ever really examining the possibilities that can significantly change our outcomes and are easily available to all of us.
Why is any of that important? I’ll tell you why, but most of you won’t believe me. And it is not your fault. You see there is a big plan by those that control pretty much everything to keep us “dumbed down”. Yes, they the powers that oversee, want to force the masses into a calm docile state of submission and declining health-state. Don’t believe me?
